Buying a Home

Buying a home can be an intimidating process in San Francisco Bay Area.  It’s often reported that we have a shortage of available homes and the market is highly competitive.  That said, I’ve helped many people buy a home and I completely understand what it takes to make it happen. Let me help you through the process by providing support from start to finish.

Initially I’ll meet with you to learn what you desire in a new home.  You, your wants and needs are what is most important.

Step 1: Asking questions!

  • Do you need a certain number of bedrooms or bathrooms?

  • Do you work at home or will you commute to an office frequently?

  • Do you have a particular style or location in mind?

  • Do you have children and/or pets?

  • Have you chosen a lender and/or defined your price range?

  • Step 2:

Using the multiple listing service and my network of colleagues, I will find homes that are the right fit for you with your criteria in mind.

  • Step 3:

When you like a particular home, I’ll help you understand it’s intricacies before you make an offer. If there are additional inspections or research needed, I’ll facilitate this for you as well.

  • Step 4:

I will familiarize you with recent market activity and trends so we can make your offer compelling and I’ll advocate and negotiate for you so that you succeed in this competitive market.

  • Step 5:

When your offer is accepted, I continue working for you with lenders, appraisers, listing agents, and the escrow and title company until you complete close of escrow.
